Creative Producer Kirsten Tranter: “Goodbye for now!”
As I go off on maternity leave I am excited to be spending time with both my 19-month-old daughter and her new little sister when she arrives, but I’m sad to be leaving the sector at such a delicate time. However, I have faith that the amazing artists, producers, managers and other professionals will continue to make and support incredible work, and use this challenging time to move forward positively for the creative and collective good.
Reflecting on my time so far with AutinDT fills me with lots of joy and happy memories, and I’m thrilled to have been part of so many fantastic and meaningful projects and performances. Since joining forces with Johnny back in 2016, I have witnessed the company come such a long way (all credit to the hard-working and tenacious Mr Autin!) and it’s been fantastic to see the company flourish and make its big impact on hundreds of audience members and participants. I’m also really excited for the what the future holds as there are lots of projects in the pipeline, such a socially distanced performance of A Posi+ive Life and the premiere of Out of the Deep Blue next summer (which I can’t wait to see come to fruition!) plus plenty of other amazing projects – so keep your eyes peeled.
For now, I’ll be enjoying some more of the great virtual dance and art offers online, but I very much look forward to seeing live work back in outdoor spaces and venues very soon!
Wishing you all the very best for the near future, stay safe and well.
