✨ 🌟Get to know Shelley🌟✨
Shelley’s interest for digital curation developed as result of a professional dance career and noticing, that with her experience in photography and visual fine arts, that she could contribute to the amplification of dance within the digisphere. Shelley is the Marketing Manager for Birmingham Dance Network and the Digital Audience Developer for Rhiannon Faith Company, other organisations include Corey Baker Dance, BRUMProClass and the her own work at SEH.
✨ ⭐ Shelley as Dance Artist ⭐ ✨
Shelley Eva Haden was a nominee for The National Dance Awards as “Most outstanding female performer of 2017” voted by the Critics Circle (2018). Shelley graduated from The Northern School of Contemporary Dance in 2014 with a First Class BA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance Performance, becoming the first ever student to achieve 100% on the solo choreography assessment – her ‘Silver Shelter’ is now part of the school’s repertoire. In 2017, she was nominated for The National Dance Awards as “Most outstanding female performer of 2017”. Shelley’s performance credits include, among others, Autin Dance Theatre, Jamaal Burkmar (Extended Play), Gary Clarke Company, Corey Baker Dance Company, Maxine Doyle (Punchdrunk), Rhiannon Faith Company, Tamsin Fitzgerald (2faced Dance Company) and Rosie Kay Dance Company. Shelley’s work as a choreographer, educator, and movement director is wide-ranging, spanning many commissions, independent projects, commercial works, opera, TV and film work.
